2013年10月に7年振りの来日公演で地獄旋風を巻き起こしたKISS。彼らのデビュー・アルバム『KISS』のリリースから40周年を記念したファン待望の豪華アナログLPボックス・セット『KISSTERIA - The Vinyl Road Case』のリリースが決定した。

このボックス・セットには、34枚のLPや歴代の宣伝用ポスター、アナログ盤用のクリーニング・クロス、ターンテーブル・マット、オリジナル・ドミノなどのスペシャル・グッズも同梱。箱はツアー機材運搬箱のレプリカという豪華仕様となっている。世界1,000セット限定でリリースされ、価格は210,600円（税込）を予定しているとのこと。
