先日、ニューアルバムの制作を発表したばかりのSIMPLE PLANもまた以下のようなメッセージを掲げている。

3/11の地震と津波による被害の恐ろしい写真や映像をみて、心がハチ切れそうだ。俺達はこの10年、何度も日本に行かせてもらっていて日本が世界の中で最も素晴らしい場所のひとつだと思っている。この大きな災害でメンバーも深く心を痛めているんだ。

シンプルプラン基金は日本の地震と津波の救援と復興のために、$10,000（約82万円）をカナダ赤十字社に寄付をした。そして俺達はさらに、売上げを寄付するために、#Help Japan Tシャツをデザインした。この特別なTシャツからの全ての収益は日本赤十字社に送る予定だ。

It absolutely breaks our hearts to watch the horrible images and videos of the devastation that has hit Japan following the March 11th earthquake and tsunami. We had the privilege to visit Japan many times over the last 10 years and It’s one of the most amazing place in the world. To see such destruction has deeply affected everyone in the band.

The Simple Plan Foundation has decided to donate $10,000 to the Canadian Red Cross to help Japan earthquake and tsunami Relief Effort.

We also designed a special #HelpJapan shirt to help raise money for the Red Cross. All proceeds from the sale of this special shirt will go to the Red Cross Japan Relief Effort.
