今もなお多くのミュージシャンに影響を与え続けているバンド、NIRVANA最大の問題作『In Utero』のリリースから20年が経つ。20周年を記念して、『In Utero（super deluxe edition）』がリリースされた！

“歴史的名盤”と称され全世界で3,000万枚という破格のセールスを記録したデビュー・アルバム『Nevermind』から2年後にリリースされた2ndアルバム『In Utero』はバンドの意向によりアンダー・グラウンドへの回帰をテーマに制作され、NIRVANAにとって最終アルバムとなった。この『In Utero』の20周年記念企画として1993年にリリースされた当時のオリジナル・マスター・テープを20年ぶりに完全リマスター！リリース当時、最終的にボツになった幻の楽曲「Heart-Shaped Box」、「All Apologies」のSteve Albiniミックスや近年“発掘”された未発表インスト・トラック「Forgotten Tune」、 David Eric Grohlキャリア初のデモ音源の1990年に録られた「Marigold」(Davidのギター・ソロ）のオリジナル・デモなど今作でしか聞けない楽曲を収録。

さらにDVDには、1993年12月に行われた『Live and Loud』のDVD、初公開トラックを含んだ完全版でブックレットにはKurt Donald Cobain直筆の歌詞、未公開写真を多数掲載しており、ファンにとっては見逃せない作品となっている。20年の時を経て、あの衝撃が再び蘇る。ぜひチェックしていただきたい！
